TCC Loft Moves to Barrie

Decade in Review Barrie Advance / Innisfil Journal, Thursday, DECEMBER 24, 2009, depicts Innisfil's land transfer plight. TCC Loft is moving (Not Physically) to Barrie on January 1, 2010 through annexation. In 1989 we chose to move to a rural setting in Innisfil. Now 20 years later, Barrie will sustain its growth & artificially balance its books by gobbling up 2300 hectares of Innisfil farm land. The City of Barrie, and Ontario Government will argue that it is reducing rural sprawl. However, Innisfil and other rural communities will continue their development plans to sustain services. We're not looking forward to this move, nor its future cost!

DMG - the immune booster!

dimethylglycine, or vitamin B15

Call it what you want....it reduces the effects of stress and increases racing performance. Can it be used against adenovirus? Do a little research on natural products this winter.

Yesterday's Paszterko SIONS Today - Part 1

Tony Paszterko's SION passion is just as strong today as it was in the 1970sThe very best of Heitzman Sions were purchased directly and indirectly from Charlie. At one point, Charles Heitzman told Tony that he couldn't give him anything better then what he already had in the Utopia, Ontario loft. Big name Sion flyer's like Chic Brooks, John Garzoli, and VL Janson sourced birds through "CANADIAN SION LOFT - TONY PASZTERKO"
Tony continually looked for outstanding Sion blood lines to cross into his family, and only added "IMPACT" pigeons to the breeding loft. Each one of these additions to the loft has a story, but lets start with his "870" foundation family.

Tom Williams of Owen Sound, Ontario, bred CU-57-2344, a powerful Blue Bar White Flight Cock with a Blue Violet eye sign. Tony says this is the best bird I ever owned, and he was sire to my "CHAMPION 870", 16 x 1st. 2344 included the Best of Heitzman Sions down thru "the 1052 Silver" and "Morning Glory" lines. Cronin & Zon's "Darkie" also shows up in 2344's pedigree.

Tony mated his Blue Violet eye cock with CU-66-598 Red Chequer to produce his "CHAMPION 870". This hen shows up in most of Tony's Sion pedigrees, and she produced other winners for Tony and close friend Joe Matys. Looking through 598's pedigree is like looking at a "Who's Who" Champion Breeders list, Ernest Giovannoni, Edwin Lang Miller, Charles Heitzman, and local breeders, Sam Marshall, and Gordon Markle. Champion Pigeons closely related to 598 include; Falcon, 451818, 4323, Lexington, Fayette, Old 51, and Impact. These were the Best Derby & Long Distance Pigeons of the day! Tony Paszterko's 870 lines were built on a solid performance foundation as can be seen below.
